Every time when the teacher says it s time to present in front of the class, my nerves go sky high. I suffer from social anxiety, which means you have the fear of interaction with other people that brings on self-consciousness, feelings of being negatively judged and evaluated, and as a result, leads to avoidance. I know I have this because every time I have to present I get nervous, my hands get sweaty, and I am unable to speak. When I have to present I have to do it in front of the teacher or a much smaller group. The feeling of having eyes on me while I m talking makes me feel uncomfortable, maybe it s because I ve been bullied in the past about my appearance, It s even hard to walk through the cafeteria and feel like I m being†¦show more content†¦As a result, a person feels uncomfortable participating in everyday social situations. I always stress about if I m going to stutter which I tend to do when I m under pressure. The Genard Method said Public Speaking anxiety is often learned behavior. You failed at some point in an important or high profile speaking situation, and the see was planted then (The Genard Method) This is very true, as I m about to present in front of everyone, I think from my past, all the times I ve embarrassed myself in front of people. I have a lot of stress because everyday I think if have to present a project or have to share something about myself. How can students with social anxiety approach their teachers if they need accommodations? According to Calm Clinic, Teachers often stress the fact that they are available during office hours to answer any questions that may arise outside of class. This can be helpful for people with social anxiety in that it allows them to communicate one on one rather than having to face a large group. Juuuust right. Not too far from its star, not too close. So it could contain liquid water. The planet itself is neither too big nor too small for the proper surface, gravity and atmosphere. It’s just right. Just like Earth. This really is the first Goldilocks planet,† said co-discoverer R. Paul Butler of the Carnegie Institution of Washington. This is all made possible by the education which I have received here at Thomas College. I knew that in order to be ready for the workplace I needed to go to college. I hoped that this would provide me with the knowledge I needed to start working at a good salary and to be doing something that I enjoyed. The education has indeed provided me with the nessessary knowledge to be a very competitive member of the workforce. Where I am working (OConnors GMC), has many employees that have been there much longer than I have. However, I have been offered a starting salary that is greater than what they are earning now. This is because I have been to college and in many cases know more about how to run a division than they do. These are just a few of the vast possibilities out there for me. SALES MANAGERS design and measure marketing and distribution strategies. They are the driving force behind the sales strategies. Their work includes the supervision of sales staff and the development of sales programs designed to introduce prospective customers to new products and services. Sales managers are also responsible for reviewing market trends and evaluating sales. Sales management may include the selection and training of the sales staff and the development of a network of dealers who sell a product in the field.(1) MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICERS deal with prospective home owners. These are people who do or want to own their own homes. Appraisers carefully examine every detail of the building plans and site details. They look at the potential employees abilities such as employment history, skills, what they like to do, what they have been trained to do, how well they follow directions, education and ability to learn. They give adv ice on what type of jobs to seek, where to seek them, interview techniques, along with many other helpful techniques on getting a quality job.BANKMANAGERS are responsible for the everyday operations that go on inside their branch of a bank. Limiting yourself is the only thing that can hold you back, otherwise there is a limitless number of new job opportunities out there for us.
